IFT Productions is a independent film and music production team based in Santa Clarita, CA.

IFT Productions started with Cesar Torres and Omar Cruz. Omar began taking introductory film and audio courses at the local college. Omar introduced Cesar to film production. Unbeknown to Omar, Cesar was familiar with making movies and already made films at a young age. They started doing random short films for school. In talking with Israel Mariscal about his interest in making movies, Isreal, Cesar, and Omar decided join to make a whole production studio for the films they wanted to make. Israel named the production studio IFT Productions.

The first attempt was a Doom fan film; a comedy named “My Life is Doom: Knee Deep in the Day”. It was the first film with an actual script, actors, props, and major editing. That film is what introduced them to actual filmmaking and producing. After “My Life is Doom” both Cesar and Omar started going to school for film regularly while Israel went to work full time.

After filming a major film they asked a past actor named Justan Rahming to help with wring a score. Months after, Justan joined the IFT team as an audio engineer.

Coinciding with the film making; Omar and Justan opened an IFT music production studio to record bands and to produce full scores for films.

IFT Productions is a film and music production group that makes what ever they want, and is not bounded by any genres.
